Accounts, budgets and goals in one place
Watch your money grow
Money Trees brings your accounts, spending, budgets and goals together in one place, with a tree that grows as you reach your goals.
Money Trees is invite-only while we grow. How early access works
Everything about your money, in one place
See where you stand at a glance, from net worth to this month's budgets.
Accounts
Your whole financial picture
- Everyday money, investments, property and debts, grouped for you
- Net worth that says what you own and what you owe
- Balance history for every account
Budgets
Budgets you can actually see
- A jar for every spending category
- Plain words: “$231 left” or “Over by $11”
- Flip back through past months
Goals
Goals that grow with you
- Save toward an account balance
- Pay down a loan or a card
- Grow your net worth over time
Transactions
Spending, sorted
- Grouped by day, newest first
- A category on every transaction
- Filter to money in, money out or what needs a category
How it works
Three small steps. Then just check in now and then.
Add your accounts
Connect your banks, cards, loans and investments once, and balances and transactions sync on their own every day.
Give every dollar a jar
Set a monthly budget for each category and watch the jars fill as you spend.
Watch your tree grow
Plant a goal, then see it sprout, grow and bloom as your progress adds up.
Your data stays yours
It's your money. We treat it that way.
Private to you
Every record is locked to your account in the database itself, not just in the app.
Two-factor sign-in
Protect your account with an authenticator app for a second layer of security.
Exact to the cent
Money is stored and added up in whole cents, never rounded along the way.
Early access
How bank sync works today
We connect to your banks, cards, loans and investments through SimpleFIN Bridge. It's read-only: we can see balances and transactions, never move money.
- 1Sign up for SimpleFIN Bridge
- 2Link your banks there
- 3Paste a setup token into Money Trees
Free during early access
Money Trees doesn't charge anything right now. SimpleFIN costs about $15 a year, paid to them.
Why not Plaid?
Plaid needs a license and costs that make sense once we've grown. If we get there, we'll switch.
Early adopters come first
If we switch, we'll walk you through reconnecting, keep what you've built, and give plenty of notice before anything changes.
